No matter how much I protest that it can’t possibly be true, it seems that my little buddy is indeed turning two years old next week. I guess he’s subtly been trying to prepare me because he’s looking so much older all of a sudden. Where did my baby go?? Before those sweet little baby cheeks and curls disappear for good, I drug him out for a few photos. I obviously couldn’t get this wild thing to do anything I asked, but the images are so him that I couldn’t have arranged them any better myself.

Still my baby.

Quinn is the type of kid who’s never far from his momma’s side, but on Saturday I walked past our front living room and saw something I’d never seen before: Q, sitting quietly by himself on the couch in a little patch of afternoon sunlight, looking through a photo album of his first birthday party.

Quiet moments like that are as rare as white buffalo these days!
