Emily McCall Photography bio picture

My philosophy . . .

I love working with people who are fun.  Genuine.  Real.  And that’s what my photography is really all about: capturing the real you.  I can see the connections between the members of your family and the beauty in each one of you -- and that’s what I want to capture with my camera.

I don’t do the typical matching-outfits portraits, or the canvas-backdrop-strobe-lighting-say-cheese portraits.  I don’t want you to worry about having perfect hair, perfect smiles, and the kids on their best behavior.  Relax.  Have fun.  Be yourself.  I want to show you your family the way I see it through my lens: happy, beautiful, flawless in spite of the flaws.

So when I show up for your session, you don’t have to do any pretending.  Just be real.  I like t-shirts and jeans and flip-flops.  And jammies.  And mussed up hair and lollipop-stained faces.  I love hugs and tickle fights and peals of laughter, and snuggles and kisses too.  These things are real.  This is the way I want to remember my family, and it’s the way I want to help you remember yours.

I’m incredibly excited to announce that the long-awaited 2007 Product Guide is finally finished!  Besides being a much prettier version of our price list, the Guide also marks the launch of several new products: gallery wrap canvases, photo cards, calendars, custom-designed hardcover storybook albums, and — the crème de la crème — wall gallery collections!

If you’ve always wanted a striking wall display of photographs but never got around to putting one together, we’re here to help!  We provide all the prints you need at a discounted package price along with the wall design guide.  You provide the frames, mats, and wall space!  We have several designs available to fit any room in your home, and can even custom-design a display for those hard-to-fit places.  A wall gallery collection is definitely the most striking way to display your portraits.  I know you’re going to love them!

So if you’re interested in finding out more about a gallery collection or any of our other new products, just email me and I’ll send you a copy of the Product Guide!

Walls looking a little bare?

Maybe you need a fine art print to finish off the room! Believe it or not, I actually take photos of things besides people, most of which you can view on my flickr page. If you’ve ever admired any of these photos and wondered how you could get a print for yourself, I have good news! I am now able to sell my images as fine art prints!

Print & frame my art at Imagekind...

These high-quality prints come in large sizes only, usually 6.5 x 10 inches, 10.5 x 16 inches, or 16 x 24 inches, and prices start around $30. You choose the type of paper you would like the image printed on and ImageKind will send you the loose print. Or, if you’d like to order a ready-to-hang piece of art, you can choose from ImageKind’s great selection of custom framing and matting options.

So take a look and let me know what you think. And if you’ve seen an image of mine that you like but is not available for sale in my gallery, just let me know and I’d be happy to add it for you!
