My snazzy new iPhone case

I just had to share a quick shot of the new iPhone case I got last month. It’s pink! And has tigers! The design is called “Pink Tigers,” in fact, and was created by Sian Keegan and sold through Society6. Isn’t it pretty?

"Pink Tigers" by Sian Keegan at Society6This isn’t the sort of artwork I typically gravitate towards, but I think I was subconsciously drawn to it because of its resemblance to the tigers in a book I used to read at my grandma’s house when I was young–“Little Black Sambo,” which was a pretty racially insensitive story that has now thankfully been updated and re-released as “The Boy and the Tigers.” But this is the illustration I remember:

Those tigers run around that tree until they somehow turn themselves into a pool of butter, which the little boy and his parents then use to make pancakes. It makes absolutely no sense, but the artwork has obviously stuck with me.

In case you’re looking to give your phone a new spring look, here are some more cute cases I came across before I settled on the tigers:

So many great designs to choose from–maybe I should just get a bunch of cases and rotate them! Do you have a phone case you love? Please share!

(I should add: all of these cases are available for phones other than the iPhone as well.)
